デルのドングル型シンクラはWindowsパソコンを不要にし、普及するか！！？

2014年春のWindowsXPのサポート打ち切り時期が近づきポストパソコン時代への動きが盛んです。アンドロイドパソコンをHPなどが出してみたり、グーグルブックがビジネスと教育などの領域でシェアを高めています。
さて企業パソコン分野に強いデルからアンドロイドOS（Windows版もあり）を使ったドングル型シンクラ（Dell Wyse Cloud Connect、129ドル）が登場しました。筆者の知り合いは「これって、USBシンクラじゃん！！」と感想を述べています。アクセサリーとしてマウスやキーボードも出ています。BYODの一環だそうです。マイクロソフトもこれに対しては相当神経質になっているでしょう。
モニターにさせば（テレビでも企業の社内のモニターでも）パソコンに早変わりです。またクラウドサービスとして自宅のパソコンやマックをネット経由で動かしてパソコンの処理をしたり、デスクトップの仮想化と言う事でクラウド側でパソコンのアプリを動かせます。但し、テレビはMobile High-Definition Link (MHL) / HDMI port付きのモニターであることが条件）
企業用は仮想デスクトップとしてイントラネット経由やインターネット経由でサーバー上のアプリで処理をし、個人用はポケットクラウドとして自宅のパソコンやマックをホームクラウドに設定し動かします。
これを見ていると早晩、ドングル型シンクラはCPUパワーの大きいスマートフォンやタブレットに吸収され、パソコンはやがて消えるような気もしますが。
