PDCのセッション情報が公開されている。Azureに興味のある方は要チェック

PDCの早期申し込み割引が来週火曜日15日で終了となる。「行きたいな」と思われている方は
早めに上司に相談してみていただきたい。申請・稟議にもそれなりに時間がかかるであろう。
営業のご褒美はリゾート旅行でもよいだろうが、がんばった技術者へのご褒美は、最新最速の
テクノロジーや世界で活躍するトップレベルの開発者に触れる機会であってほしいものだ。

このPDC、目下準備が進んでおり、決まったことから五月雨に情報が公開されている。
すでに、セッション情報も、まだすべて出そろっているわけではないが、タイトルと概要、スピーカーが
掲載されているものもあるので、おおよその雰囲気はつかめるようになってきつつある。
毎度サイトで更新をチェックするのが面倒だという方は、twitterアカウントをフォローするのがよろしかろう。

オープンになっているセッション情報の中から、Azureがらみのものをひろってご紹介したい。

■定番のAzureアプリ開発
おなじみ Steve Marx をはじめ、Azureチームのメンバーが開発手法を語るセッションが多数行われる。
入門的な内容はもう十分、という方もいるかもしれないが、PDC以降で変更、追加される機能も予定されており、

今後さらにセッション情報が追加されると思われるので、こうご期待＆要チェックだ。

なお、誤解のないように念のため補足しておくが、PDCではWindows Azure以外のテクノロジについても
もちろん多くのセッションが開催される。開発者が対象なので、Visual Studio 2010や.NET4がらみの
セッションも多い。タイミング的に、PDC前後でローンチ時期の近いOffice2010やWindows7などに
関連した開発者向けセッションも含め、幅広い最新テクノロジをご理解いただくことができる。

日本からの参加には、カンファレンスの登録費用も含んだツアーがお手軽だ。PTS社のサイトから
お申し込みいただけるようになっており、こちらも早期割引の前後で総額費用が変わってくる。
このツアーには我々日本から参加するマイクロソフト社員も同行し、セッションが早めの時間に終わる
最終日には、帰国後の社内報告で困らないよう日本語でのラップアップセッションも行う予定である。
