Moogが600円で買える。そう、iPhoneならね

　「Moog Filtatron」というアプリがApp Storeで発売されました。KORG Monotronみたいな名前ですね。シンセサイザーっぽいですね。それもそのはず、これはあのMOOGシンセサイザーの本家、Moog Musicからリリースされているのです。

　実際はフル機能のシンセサイザーではなくて、マイクから入力されたものを、Moog独特のフィルターを使って音色加工ができるという仕組み。入力は、ライン、サンプラー、VCOの3種類から。VCFはハイパス・ローパスの切り替えでカットオフフリーケンシーとレゾナンスあり。LFOは波形が正弦波、鋸歯波、逆鋸歯波、矩形波、サンプル＆ホールドなど。エフェクターにはオーバードライブ、ディレイが。あと、X-Yパッドが2つ用意されており、それぞれVCF、LFO、ディレイと、VCO（ピッチとボリューム）、エンベロープ、アンプを選択しながらプレイ可能。従来のMoogシンセサイザーとは違う、どちらかというとKAOSSILATOR的な遊び方ですが、自由度が高いぶん、たっぷりと楽しめます。

　あ、フィルターは自己発振しますよ。

　プリセットやサンプルの録音、インポート、エクスポートはメールやFTPを使って可能。プリセットが多いので、まずそのあたりから入るのもいいかと。

　とにかくかなり遊べることは間違いないです。600円。即買いでしょう（App Storeへのリンク）。

Really Exciting! by JORDAN RUDES What a cool sound design tool. Unlike most apps that use knobs, these knobs are easy to use and a pleasure to play with. The parameters are very user friendly, and in no time you will be making awesome sounds that will make you smile. Really intuitive and even you don't know the technical terms for things you will quickly have fun! Reminds me of when I first starting tweaking my MiniMoog way back when and I would play it just by feel..... It would be great to implement the file sharing functionality within the itunes app. It would be awesome also to put integrate some kind of MorphWiz grid or even just a keyboard (second choice!). I love the morphable LFO shapes. Good job guys!
