NinjaConnect debut!!

»

The day before yesterday, we released a new product for the Asia Pacific market called "NinjaConnect." The following is a good summary of our activities outside of Japan from the press release:

Since the beginning of 2015, E-Jan International has been catering to the global market by providing applications supporting multiple languages, establishing Global Helpdesk support, and focusing on marketing promotions that target the Asia Pacific market and forming business alliances with partners all over the world.

Through actual market studies, we have observed that there is a high rate of labour mobility in the Asia region. When visiting countries lacking high-speed data communication infrastructure, users have a need for a more flexible and easy solution to access their work data remotely. With NinjaConnect®, users can access their work data from anywhere they go.

This is how NinjaConnect came to be.

NinjaConnect uses the same base technology as CACHATTO, but we simplified its functions and pricing. The features are as follows:

  • The app allows you to access files on remote fileservers
  • Access and use downloaded files on your local PC
  • No VPN required
  • No Firewall setting changes required
  • No data remaining on the internet

We have visited many potential customers in Asia and found that their concerns were quite different from those in Japan, so were their requirements. Based on those requirements, we came up with a product that we thought would sell well and released it. Of course, this is just the early stage of the product, but it will evolve until it's grasped by the market.

With the newly available product, we could gain some new domestic customers who have different needs form our current CACHATTO customers, but for now, we will concentrate on the Asia Pacific market. However, interestingly, when we introduced the concept for our new product to potential customers, they also showed interest in the conventionally offered CACHATTO.

We named the new service NinjaConnect. At first, we came up with approximately 200 candidates for the name of our new service. Since "Ninja" is associated with Japan, and it sounds cool, we decided to use it, along with "Connect" because it is a connection service by nature. We confirmed domain names and brand name availability, registered them, and proceeded with NinjaConnect. We'll also play a bit with the newly designed Ninja character.

Some customer requirements are complicated and some are simple. We offer the market something based on the same core technologies, but with a few improved features, and hope customers choose our product. It may sound conservative or uninventive, but this is a realistic evolvement. Let's go with it!
